The seminar will be led by Serge Buy, Lighthouse Public Affairs’ senior partner and Chief Vision Officer. Serge has led seminars such as these ones in front of over 1,500 people from not-for-profit organizations across the country. With over thirty years of experience in public affairs (government relations, public relations, crisis management) and having (successfully) supported organizations apply for millions of dollars, Serge is best placed to lead this seminar series.

Lighthouse Public Affairs is a specialized boutique government relations based in Ottawa, with clients across the country. 

The morning session is specifically designed to help not-for-profits navigate or “decode” the Canadian political system. Serge will offer a thorough review of all government levels, adding unique insights and perspectives from his work with officials and organizations federally, provincially and municipally. 

The afternoon session will be a customized and interactive event, specific to funding streams and proposals, offering useful tips and advice for organizations in various stages of funding maturity.
